Some of the students in three of our meteorology and climatology courses here at the University of Nebraska (Basic and Applied Climatology; Natural Hazards; and, Severe Storms) have begun to produce electronic term papers on various weather and climate related topics.

These electronic term papers are made available here for two educational purposes:

1:  for other meteorology and climatology students here at UNL, and at other locations, to see what can be done on the Internet for a class term paper (and hopefully encouraging other students to try this form of a term paper).

2:  To bring interesting term paper research done by our students to the public for their education on various interesting weather and climate topics.

Do note that the links within the student term papers can over time become "cobwebs" and no longer be active since they are no longer being updated.  If you run across one of their links inside their web site, and find it inactive and still would like to access the linked site, try using a search engine and put a key word or two into the search engine.   This should in most cases get you to the new linked address.  The link to the home page of each student project will be kept up to date.
