Mount Rushmore changes its "mood" throughout the day as clouds move in and out
and the sun casts different shadows across the monument.

The open-air amphitheater where evening video presentations and question and answer
sessions are given by a National Park Ranger.  Following that, when it is dark enough,
the monument is lit by many flood lights.

Nick meets with Dr. Ken Dewey of the High Plains Regional Climate Center.
As noted in the above image of his bookcover, Nick was one of the original
workers on Mount Rushmore.  He was a winchman and driller from 1938-1940.
