The
Snow Cover in Nebraska is Going Away
The snow cover in Nebraska is
currently limited to southeast Nebraska and northeast Nebraska with a small
swath from southwest
Nebraska up to north central
Nebraska. The darker gray areas of Lincoln and Omaha can be noted
on the image.
These locations are darker due
to the snow removal from the streets, there is not a complete covering
of snow (white).
The river valleys show up as
darker areas in Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota.
There is some remaining snow
cover in far west Kansas and there are puffy cumulus clouds in central
Missouri.
