What contrasts!  January into February 1936, day after day with highs below the normal lows, and many lows well below zero.  Then in summer, it hit the all time highest recorded temperature of 115 F with the largest ever observed total, 
82 days of 90 F or above and largest ever observed total of 41 days 100 F or above.
