Continuous Well Above Normal Temperatures for
Nebraska, The Great Plains, and all 48 states (except Florida)

The last 30 days have averaged above normal as noted on the above map (except
for Florida, which was slightly below normal).  The greatest departure was in the Great Plains
ranging from 15 to 20 degrees above normal for the time period


 

As noted on the next two graphs, the current warm spell began on December 20, 2005
across Nebraska with continuous above normal temperatures in Lincoln and only one day with
below normal temperatures in Scottsbluff. NE
