Precipitation Update for the U.S.
January 1, 2006 through May 31, 2006

Much of the U.S. has received less normal precipitation so far this year.  The notable
exceptions are California, the regions south of the Great Lakes and New England.

Signifcant portions of Nebraska have only received from 25% to 70%
of normal precipitation since January 1.
