New record daily amount of precipitation on January 4.  Old January 4 record was 0.32 in 1977

January 14, 2005 had a high temperature of only 2 F, however it was not the coldest ever January 14 high.
 On January 14, 1888 the high temperature was only -16 F !

January 15, 2005 had a low temperature of -18 F.  This would have been a record low had it occurred the day
before or the 2 days later. Note the record lows below in the January 2005 table.
